BLACKPINK‘s most recent track, “Shut Down” got them to take over Jimmy Kimmel Live. The K-pop female quintet, made up of Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa, performed a powerful, intricately choreographed number on the late-night program.

The song, which is currently available through YG Entertainment/Interscope Records, is off of the band’s second album, “Born Pink“. It takes aim at the paparazzi, doubters, and detractors of the group. The hook is “Whip it whip it whip it whip it / Keep watching me shut it down,” while the chorus says, “When we pull up you know it’s a shut-down.”

In the video, the girl group performs “Shut Down” and its choreography with the assistance of a bunch of backup dancers. Since the song’s debut last week, BLACKPINK hasn’t performed it live until now.

This fall, BLACKPINK will embark on a global tour in support of Born Pink. The world tour begins on October 15 in Seoul Olympic Park and lasts until next summer, when it will conclude in New Zealand. According to management firm YG Entertainment, the 36-date world tour aspires to be the “biggest international tour in the history of a K-pop girl group.”
